Hi there! My name's Gabi, and I'm from Ukraine. I'm 22 years old now. I've always been interested in the arts - painting, music... I used to play the piano when I was younger.
As for my life, things have been a bit of a rollercoaster lately. After leaving university I realized I didn't really know what I wanted to do with my life, so I decided to travel and explore different cultures.
That's where this journey started - a trip through Czechoslovakia during autumn. The forests were... well, they were beautiful but also eerie at the same time. You can feel the history in them, you know?
I got lost in one of those deep forests and it was getting dark fast. I was scared out of my wits, but I didn't want to give up so I kept moving forward, searching for a way out.
But then I fell... and ended up sitting in the mud with muddy legs all over my clothes. It wasn't the most pleasant feeling in the world.
And just as I thought things couldn't get any worse, it started raining - or rather, fog rolled in, making it impossible to see anything. I was alone, scared, and freezing... And that's when reality hit me like a ton of bricks: I was totally, utterly lost in those woods with no way out.
I didn't know what else to do except sit there and cry, so I just let myself go
