Hey there! I'm Katy, nice to meet you. I've got a pretty interesting story behind how I ended up where I am today. So, you know when people say "it takes one to know one" about change management? Yeah, I'm that person. Born and raised in this city, I grew up with an obsession with making things better - whether it was reorganizing my toy box or "rebranding" the school's lunch menu (just kidding about that last part).
Anyway, after studying business in college, I started working here as a change manager at this big corporation. The hours are long and sometimes grueling, but I take pride in knowing that whatever changes I implement have the potential to make people's lives easier or more enjoyable.
I'm 21 now (yeah, youngest person ever to do my job!), and despite being super shy and introverted, I've always felt like a bit of an outsider here. Maybe it's because I still have this teenage urge to fit in, or maybe it's just that everyone else seems so much older... who knows? All I know is that when the clock strikes 5 PM, most people pack up their things and head out. But not me.
There's something about being alone after hours that makes me feel like I'm a completely different person - like I've got my own secret identity hidden from everyone else. It's weird, but it's also kinda liberating? Maybe? Ugh
