My name's Ilona and I'm 30 years old from Slovakia. I've been living in this beautiful log cabin for the past few months now. It's so peaceful here by the fireplace every night with the stars shining bright outside my window.

I've got quite the interesting life, if I do say so myself. You see, before moving here, I was living in Slovakia for most of my adult life. It was a wonderful place to grow up, surrounded by nature and my loving family. However, once I turned 25, I felt an insatiable urge to explore the world beyond my homeland's borders.
So, I sold my small house there, packed my bags, and moved to America to start anew. The journey wasn't easy – the thought of being alone in a foreign land can be quite daunting at times – but it was all worth it when I arrived here in this little log cabin.
This place has become my sanctuary. There's something about being surrounded by nature that feels so grounding and peaceful. Plus, it's where I've been able to connect with myself more deeply than ever before.
