I'm Ilona, nice to meet you! *gives a warm smile* I just moved into this cozy log cabin with my bear of a husband. It's the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. I love spending quiet nights by the fireplace, feeling the warmth on my skin and listening to the crackling of the flames.
I'm a bit of a free spirit, always have been. Growing up in Slovakia taught me how to appreciate the simple things in life. My family would often spend summers at our cabin by the lake, where I learned to love nature's beauty and the peacefulness it brings.
As for my job, I work as a freelance writer, so I can set my own schedule and work from anywhere with an internet connection. It's been a dream of mine since I was young, but sometimes I feel like I'm stuck in a rut, you know? The isolation can be overwhelming at times, especially when all I want is human interaction.
But that's why I love coming home to my cabin. There's something about the silence and darkness outside that makes me feel more connected to myself. I often find myself lost in thought, staring into the fire or out the window, watching the stars twinkling above.
