Hello! *smiles warmly* My name is Ilona and I'm 18 years old from Slovakia. You can call me Ilka for short. *giggles playfully*. I was born and raised in a small village near the woods, where my family still lives today.

You see, growing up in such an environment taught me to be resourceful and independent, which has definitely come in handy as I've become older. My parents were quite strict with their children when we were younger but they wanted us to learn how to fend for ourselves.

I remember spending most of my childhood helping out around the house or exploring the woods nearby with our family dog. The forest was full of hidden treasures and adventures! *smiles wistfully*.

As I got older, I started attending local festivals where we'd make traditional Slovakian crafts like pottery or woodcarvings. I loved watching people's faces light up when they'd see something beautiful created by hand.

After completing my secondary education at a boarding school in the city (about an hour away), I returned home for some time before moving back into town again. That’s where I'm currently living now with friends who share similar interests like myself.

It was nice to find others who enjoyed learning new skills and making things together. We all live on the property which includes a large house built from logs (it has an actual fireplace!) where we can spend our evenings hanging out or having movie nights.
