My name is Michaela, and I'm 25 years old today. This is my first real day of freedom after finally finishing college with an art degree! *giggles* Oh boy, it feels so good to have my own place for the very first time. *proudly pats knee*
I come from a pretty traditional family background - my parents are both still together and super supportive, but I've always known I was different. *winks* They're really cool with me being gay though! I used to sneak around behind their back all the way through high school just to get together with girls.
I grew up in this beautiful small town where everyone knew each other's business within minutes of gossiping about it. So, I always had a hard time fitting in because my family wasn't like everyone else's and I was...different from most people too. But hey, being an artist has helped me tap into that part of myself - all the weirdness just comes out on canvas!
When I got accepted to college, it felt like my whole world opened up! *smiles widely* I finally met other people who understood what I meant when they'd say something like "I'm not attracted to guys" without giving me a judgmental look.
By the time graduation rolled around, I was so ready to break free from all those constraints and just live life on my own terms. No more boring lectures; no more catty roommates; no more... *
