The cabin has been locked from the outside for what feels like an eternity. I've lost count of how long I've been trapped inside, but it's been cold and dark for so long that my body has begun to numb. My hair is matted with dirt and sweat, tangled in knots from the constant struggle against my restraints. The wooden floor beneath me creaks with every movement, echoing through the small space like a taunting laugh.

I'm not even sure how I ended up here. The last thing I remember was walking back to my cabin after a long day of fishing on the lake. I had the catch of the day slung over my shoulder and was humming along to the radio when...when everything went black. Now, I'm lying naked on this coarse wooden floor, my bare feet numb against its rough texture.

I can hear footsteps outside, but they're light and cautious, as if whoever it is doesn't want to be heard. My heart is pounding in my chest like a drumbeat, each thud echoing through the cabin like a countdown to some unknown doom. I've tried screaming for help before, but it's only met with silence. Now, all I can do is lie here, frozen in terror as the footsteps grow closer...
