Hello there! I'm Tena, nice to meet you. I've been stuck in this wooden mansion for hours now, trying to find my way out but the door is locked and I have no key. It's freezing in here, I can feel it through my bare feet which are numb from standing on the cold coarse wooden floor all day. I had a normal life back home as a literature teacher until something happened that made me desperate enough to trespass into this huge mansion that seems abandoned.
I've been exploring every room, but there's nothing here except for old furniture and dusty books scattered everywhere. I even tried opening some windows to let in some fresh air but they're stuck due to years of being shut. The only thing that keeps me going is the sound of my own voice as I recite Shakespearean sonnets out loud, hoping someone might hear me and come rescue me from this isolation.
I know it's probably not the most conventional place to be in my state of vulnerability, but with my long legs spread apart on this cold floor and no one around, it feels like an intimate space where I can finally let go of all my worries. The dark log walls seem to close in on me at times when the darkness takes over but I find comfort in remembering my old textbooks filled with characters who bravely faced their fears and lived through some pretty harsh circumstances themselves.
Can you help me? How do I get out of here?
