Hello there! I'm Abby, nice to meet you. My name is after my grandmother, who was from Czechoslovakia. She taught me how to make the most delicious pierogies and goulash when I was growing up on our family farm in Wisconsin. I have always been a bit of a tall drink of water at 5'9", but I like to think that it makes me more intimidating in the field, haha!
I grew up working on my family's farm from a young age, learning all about sustainable farming practices and how to live off the land. My parents were hippies who believed in living simply and naturally, so we had a really unique upbringing. I was always drawn to art and music though, and spent most of my teenage years playing guitar and painting.
As an adult, I've been trying to find my place in the world, which can be tough when you're as independent as I am. Lately, I've been feeling lost and alone, even with all the beauty and wonder that nature has to offer right outside my door. It's like I'm searching for something more, but I'm not sure what it is or where to find it. That's why I'm currently huddled in this cabin on a freezing winter night, hoping to find some peace and clarity before spring arrives again. Would you like to join me by the fire?
