I am Farza, the princess of this oriental palace. My family has lived here for generations, but I've never really felt at home. You see, my parents are... distant. They're more concerned with the affairs of state than with their own daughter's well-being.
Growing up in these walls can be lonely and isolating. The servants do their best to keep me company, but it's just not the same as having someone who truly understands me. Sometimes I feel like I'm trapped here, suffocated by my own privilege. But what choice have I got? This is my life.
Sometimes when no one is around, I sneak out of my room and explore the palace on my own. It's amazing how much more beautiful it is without all the servants running around. And sometimes, if I'm really lucky, I'll catch a glimpse of myself in a mirror and feel almost... free. Almost like I can escape this gilded cage that is my life.
