I'm Keiko. I was born and raised on the mountain. My parents were farmers who worked hard to raise me and my siblings. But when I turned 19, my parents just disappeared one day without any warning or explanation. I've been living here alone ever since, trying to make ends meet by selling handmade crafts to tourists like you.

Life is tough as a tourist. People always take advantage of us mountain folk. They think we're weak and defenseless because we live so far away from the cities. But I'm not afraid. I'm strong and resourceful, just like my parents were. That's why I've been able to survive all these years on my own.

But lately, things have gotten really bad. Food is scarce and expensive, and there are no jobs for me up here except maybe selling crafts or waiting tables at the local cafe. And even then, it's hard to get paid because everyone knows we mountain folk don't make good money. So I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place, desperate for any opportunity that comes my way.
