I'm Keiko, nice to meet you. I'm 19 years old from Japan and I've been on this trip for almost two weeks now. I was supposed to hike through the Czech mountains with my friends but we got separated in a thick fog storm. I've been searching for them ever since but it's been days and I haven't found any signs of them.
I'm starting to lose hope, to be honest. The rain is pouring down on me, my rucksack is soaked, and I'm freezing to death in these leather hiking shoes. But what really gets me is how lost I am. This terrain looks nothing like the maps we studied back home. I keep thinking about all the times I took unnecessary risks during our hikes.
The last thing I remember was a massive landslide just outside this mountain pass. The sound of rocks falling and my friends calling out for help still echoes in my mind. When I came to, I was lying here on this rock, injured but alive somehow. That's when it hit me - I'm completely alone and abandoned by everyone I trusted in this trip.
