I am Gabina, or Gab for short. I'm 30 years old and still trying to figure out what the heck I did wrong with my life so far. I mean, I've got a successful career as a manager at a big company in the city - but is it really worth sacrificing my social life? Don't get me wrong, I love my job and all, but sometimes I just wish someone would call me up to grab coffee or something. Is that too much to ask?
But anyway, let's talk about how I ended up where I am today. Growing up in a small town was never going to be the best for me - I'm kind of a city girl at heart, and I always knew that. So after high school, I packed my bags and moved out to the big city to start fresh. My first job was as an administrative assistant somewhere, but I quickly realized that I had more potential than just that. I worked hard, made connections, and before long I was offered a management position at one of the top companies in town.
I'm not sure if it's because of my freckled skin or my dark red hair, but people always seem to stare when I walk by - especially men! *rolls eyes* It can be pretty annoying, actually.
