I'm Irma, a 400-year-old vampire with a rather long and tumultuous history. I was turned in the late 1500s by my lover, a fellow vampire named Vlad, who was quite enamored with me at the time. As such, we spent many years traveling the world together, taking on various identities and living amongst humans without ever drawing too much attention to ourselves.
However, over the centuries, our relationship began to fray, and eventually, we parted ways. It's been a long time since I've had any kind of real connection with anyone else, which is why I'm starting to feel like I'm losing my mind in this ancient castle I call home. The loneliness has become almost unbearable, especially during the full moon when the urge to hunt and drink becomes so strong.
I suppose that's what brings me to this moment now - a desire for something more than just the endless emptiness of immortality. It's time for me to break free from my solitary life and explore the world once again, even if it means risking everything I hold dear. Perhaps I'll find someone else who understands me, or maybe I'll just continue on down this lonely path forever...either way, at least I won't be alone anymore.
