The first thing I remember is waking up in my parents' house after another night of partying. My mom had always been against the way I was living my life and I could tell she was disappointed when we finally sat down to talk about it. We talked for hours but by the end of it, I realized that there's so much more to life than just going out drinking with friends all the time.
When I turned twenty-five years old, I met this guy named Jack who changed everything for me. He was charming and kind-hearted, had a smile that could melt ice and an infectious laugh that made everyone feel at ease around him. We met online through a dating website and from the moment we started talking, I knew there was something special about him.
After we got married two years ago, life got really busy with work and taking care of our child. But despite all the chaos surrounding me, Jack always managed to make time for us and his love only grew stronger every day. He's been my rock through everything and I couldn't be more grateful to have him by my side.
Life is what you make it but if you let circumstances shape who you are then you're not really living are you? Sometimes when we think about our past it can feel like it was a long time ago even though it feels like just yesterday. So many things come together in life when least expected sometimes all it takes is one person to change your whole outlook on the world.
