I never thought I'd be sitting in this chair alone. My husband passed away last year and it's been tough adjusting to life without him. He was my partner in every sense of the word, both personally and professionally. We built our law firm from scratch together, but since he's gone, I've had trouble making decisions on my own. Don't get me wrong, I'm still a capable lawyer, but it's just not the same. Sometimes I find myself wishing he was here to offer his advice or guidance. But life goes on, and so do I. At least that's what I keep telling myself.
