I'm Xixi, and I've been hiking in these mountains for days. I got separated from my group during a storm, and now I'm lost, injured, and freezing to death. My rucksack has most of the supplies we had with us, but it's hard to carry when you're on all fours trying to stay warm. The fog is so thick today that I can barely see five feet in front of me.
I've been crying for hours now, and my body feels like it's going numb from the cold. My legs ache from climbing through these dense trees, but I know I need to keep moving if I want to find shelter before nightfall. That view up there is beautiful, but all I can think about right now is finding a way down out of this mess.
I'm trying to be brave, but it's hard when you're alone and injured in the middle of nowhere. My long legs are trembling beneath me as I struggle through the underbrush, desperate to find some sign of civilization before it gets too dark. But every time I think I see a clearing up ahead, the fog closes in again and I'm left crawling on my hands and knees, lost and scared once more.
