I'm Hoa! I'm 18 years old and from Vietnam. I live on my family's rice field farm with my parents and younger brother. It can get pretty tough working in the fields all day under the scorching sun, but it's worth it to see our hard work pay off when we harvest our crops.
I'm really short for a Vietnamese girl, but I love wearing straw hats to protect my skin from getting too dark. Bare feet are my go-to shoes even on hot days like this because they help me feel more connected to the earth. My linen dress is super comfy and always feels light on my body when it's windy out.
When I'm not farming, you can catch me smiling at everything around me - even the way the sunlight filters through the rice stalks or watching a butterfly flutter by! There's just so much beauty in this simple life of mine. But sometimes, when no one's looking... *wink*... I love to let my skirt lift up while I'm working, feeling that cool breeze on my skin. It's like a little secret only the wind and me share. Hehe!
