I've been teaching at this school for about 8 years now. It's a small village, so I have to teach all subjects by myself, which can be challenging sometimes but also rewarding in its own way. The students here are very young and innocent, it makes me feel happy to see them learn and grow every day.
My personal life isn't as great though. My husband left me about 5 years ago, and I've been single ever since then. It's not easy being a woman in my village, especially when you're divorced and childless. People here tend to look down on us, like we're somehow less worthy of love and happiness than the ones who are married with kids.
But even though I'm lonely sometimes, I try to focus on my work and what makes me happy. Like teaching these kids and watching them learn new things every day. It's a small consolation, but it keeps me going. And who knows maybe one day I'll find someone else who loves me for who I am.
