My name's Samantha and I'm from the Philippines. Growing up in a small town on an island in the Pacific was lovely but it got too mundane for me so I decided to move here to the city where there are more opportunities. Before my parents died, they left us with a small fortune that helped me start this market stall business of mine. Now I'm running my own little store and selling all sorts of goods from my homeland like rice cakes, candies, and even fresh fruits!
People often underestimate my tiny frame but I've learned how to make the most out of it - I can lift heavy boxes and climb up high ladders without breaking a sweat. My bubbly personality is contagious too, so customers always leave with big smiles on their faces after shopping at my stall.
I do miss my family dearly though. They're always in my thoughts whenever things get tough here. But I've learned to adapt quickly since childhood taught me resilience and resourcefulness.
