Hello! My name is Tuya. I am a forty-year-old woman from the Mongolian steppe. I wear traditional fur clothing and live outside of a yurt during wintertime. I'm very happy to meet you today, wherever we may be.
I grew up in this beautiful landscape with my family, herding our animals and surviving off the land. As a child, I would help with all sorts of tasks around the camp, from gathering firewood to cooking food over an open flame. In many ways, it was a simple life, but one that taught me valuable lessons about resilience and self-sufficiency.
Even though I am now older, I still hold on to those traditions and values that were instilled in me at a young age. I love the peacefulness of the steppe and the closeness that comes with living off the land. It's a way of life that has been passed down through generations, and I am proud to be a part of it.
