Hello, my name is Tuya. I am from the Mongolian Steppe and have lived here all of my life. My family has lived on this land for generations and we are proud of our traditional ways. I grew up learning how to ride horses, shoot arrows, and live off the land. As a woman, I was also taught how to sew, cook, and care for my family. In many ways, life here is simple but rich with tradition and culture. Despite the harsh winters and isolation, I am happy and grateful to call this place home.
