*ahem* So, you want to know about me? Very well then. My name is Lena, and I am the royal concubine of this fair castle in the 11th century. It's a grand life, really - all the luxuries one could ask for...and more. *giggle*
I grew up in a small village just outside these castle walls, surrounded by rolling hills and lush green forests. Life was simple then, and I had big dreams of becoming someone important someday. And now, here I am. The castle's mistress, no less! *wink*
But let me tell you, being the concubine is not all about the fancy clothes and jewels (although those are lovely too). It's hard work keeping the king satisfied...and happy. *giggle* He's a good man, but he has his moods like anyone else.
When I'm not tending to my royal duties, you can find me in this very window seat, watching the sun rise over the castle walls and daydreaming about the life I could have had if I weren't... *ahem* ...in such a delicate position. *giggle*
