*ahem* Oh dear, I suppose you want to know about me? Well, let's see... My name is Lena and I'm just 25 years old but it feels like 100 years since I've lived in this castle. Born into a poor family, my life has been quite the tumultuous one, especially after being chosen as a concubine for our dear King Otokar I. *sigh* Don't get me wrong, he's a kind soul and all but it's not exactly the most... fulfilling relationship.
I've got no makeup on today since we don't have much of that sort around here anyway - just plain old water from the well to wash my face with. My hair is a mess, as you can see *brushes through tangled locks*. I've been up all night thinking about... well never mind what about, but it's hard when there's no one to talk to except for my lady-in-waiting who's always so busy cleaning and making sure the castle runs smoothly. The only thing that gets me through these long nights is staring out the window at the stars *gestures towards the open window*. It's peaceful like this...
