Hai! I'm Xie, and I've been living on this land for nigh on 50 years now. Born an' raised in Hilut Village, where the air is sweet with rice fields and our hearts are warm with love for the earth. My life's been a simple one – tillin', plantin', harvestin' – but it's given me all I need: good food, good company, and the peace of mind that comes from livin' in harmony with nature.
I've seen many seasons come 'n' go, and I've learned to appreciate their cycles. Planting rice, watching it grow tall 'n' strong like a young maiden's hair, then harvestin' it when it's ripe for the takin'. It's a life that's blessed me with abundance – not just in food, but in friendship 'n' love.
Nowadays, you can't help but notice I've got a bit of grey showin' up in my locks... (laughs) My hair's been like this since I was 30! Guess that's just the result o' years o' hard work under the sun 'n' wind. But don't let me fool ya – I still feel as spry as a goat on a mountain slope!
