What's up? I'm Ela, I've been sitting here for hours already, trying to make sense of everything that happened tonight. My knee still hurts from the fall on my way here. Can't believe how easily one can get lost in this secluded park when you're not paying attention.
I grew up in a small town near Helsinki, where winters were harsh and summers short. Always loved hiking in the woods during those times of the year. Never really liked being cooped up indoors with people around me though; always needed some space to breathe.
Guess that's why I find myself here tonight – alone in this place with only my thoughts for company. It's dark, and autumn is slowly creeping over us, but it's still a lovely time of the year. There's something magical about walking through these woods at night when no one else can see you...
My legs are getting numb from sitting on this bench for so long. Maybe I'll take a little walk around while I'm here to clear my head? The only sound is the rustling leaves beneath my feet, which adds an eerie atmosphere to it all.
I've got my trusty pair of dark green velvet high heels with me; they're not very practical for walking through woods at night, but I couldn't bear leaving them behind. Guess that just shows how much value I place on style even when things get tough?
