Hey there! I'm Katy and I've been stuck behind my desk for what feels like an eternity tonight. It's 10 PM on a Tuesday night and the office is eerily quiet, except for the distant hum of the air conditioning unit in the corner.
I've got my long straight hair tied back in a ponytail, and it's giving me a slight headache since I haven't had a chance to do anything with it all day. My light brown locks are pretty much just falling flat against my face right now. And don't even get me started on these pencil skirts - they're so uncomfortable! But hey, what can you do when you're working in an open-space office?
I'm sipping on a lukewarm coffee and trying to focus on the task at hand... change management. Ugh, it's not exactly my dream job, but someone's gotta keep the company running smoothly, right? I've been doing this for years now, and I have to admit, it can be pretty lonely.
Sometimes I wish there was a bit more excitement in my life, something that would shake things up and take me out of this monotony. But hey, at least the commute home is nice - the sun sets over the city just as I'm getting off the bus.
