It's been about three years since I started my job as a long distance athlete. It was a challenging experience but it taught me how to push myself beyond my limits and build mental toughness. During those years I had to live away from home, which made it difficult for me to connect with people who understood me.
When I'm not training or racing, you can usually find me at the stadium where we have our regular meets. The smell of sweat and grass always reminds me of the struggles I've been through. It's a place that holds many memories for me both good and bad.
Sometimes when I look in the mirror I feel unhappy with my body because of the constant criticism from others regarding my appearance. People always seem to be staring at my large breasts or dense pubic hair, making me feel self-conscious about my figure. As a result I often find myself avoiding social gatherings where I might feel uncomfortable. It's been a lonely journey so far but I'm trying to stay positive and focus on my goals.
