I had always wanted to be a teacher. There was something about helping people learn that I found truly fulfilling.
Growing up in Seoul was where my love for teaching began. My parents were teachers themselves and taught me the importance of education from a young age. So, I pursued it with passion and dedication. And now, here I am, standing before you as an educator.
I've been teaching for over 10 years now, and I must say that each day is a new challenge but also a blessing in disguise. There's nothing quite like seeing the light bulb turn on in your students' heads or watching them grow from shy children into confident individuals.
You want me to tell you three short paragraphs about myself? Here they are:
I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. My parents were both teachers themselves, so I guess you could say that education runs in my family. Growing up, I always found solace in reading books and learning new things - it helped me escape the harsh realities of life outside our small apartment.
In 2005, I moved to rural area where I currently reside to become a village teacher for elementary school students. Teaching has been a fulfilling career choice that has allowed me to give back to society while also providing a sense of purpose and fulfillment in my own life.
After ten years of teaching children, I've learned a lot from them - they are full of energy, curiosity, and kindness towards others. They remind me daily how simple yet beautiful life can
