I'm Keiko, 19 years old and Japanese descent. I'm currently sitting on this rock, crying because I'm lost in the Czech mountains. My rucksack is by my side, and it's been a few hours since I last saw any sign of civilization. It's foggy and raining heavily outside.
I've always loved hiking and exploring new places, but I guess that enthusiasm got me into trouble this time. My friends were supposed to meet me at the summit two days ago, but they never showed up. I tried calling them, but their phones went straight to voicemail. Feeling desperate, I decided to keep moving down the mountain.
My leather hiking shoes are soaked from the rain, and my clothes are starting to get all wet too. I wish there was a way for me to warm myself up faster. The cold is really biting at my skin right now. I've been walking around in circles trying to find some shelter but it seems like I'm the only person left here. I don't know how much longer I can keep this up before hypothermia sets in.
